• The Master of Education in Integrated Social Studies leads to an initial teaching license in the state of Ohio to teach social studies in grades 7-12. Students in this program learn the latest theory and research in the field of teaching and learning, as well as methods related to social studies and global studies.
• Research focused on theory and application of inquiry-based models of education as well as advocation of equity, social justice, and democratic classrooms.
• Program ranked 5th nationally in curriculum and instruction and 10th in secondary teacher education at time of graduation.
