I work across education, emerging technology, law, and organizational systems. I study how people and institutions learn, make decisions, and adapt, and I build programs and systems that help them do it better.
I teach social studies and law in New York City, study law at CUNY, and lead Creative Visual Studio, a studio working across research, education, and organizational strategy. My work increasingly focuses on AI governance, knowledge systems, compliance, and program strategy: institutions that can use new technology while keeping human judgment accountable.

Creative Visual Studio · MU360
Designed the architecture of MU360, the studio’s operational intelligence platform: data models, analytics and reporting, and an AI-assisted analysis step with human review, built to support leaders’ decisions.

New York City Public Schools
Teach law, government, and civics; coordinate Civics for All; implement the New York State Seal of Civic Readiness; and support a Legal Studies career pathway now in development.

Architecture of Human Systems
Develop a Creative Visual Studio research program on how people and institutions stay capable of governing themselves as AI changes knowledge work, including the Portorosso Papers, a seven-paper working series on governing AI in professional work.

Twenty years of programs
Rose from student coach to executive director of a youth sports nonprofit and grew it into a multi-site operation, led Paradigm Shift Ministries for six years, and designed new courses for Johns Hopkins CTY.
