About Dustin
I am an educator, researcher, and systems strategist based in New York. My work asks how people and institutions learn, make decisions, and adapt, and I build the programs and systems that help them do it. I teach social studies and law in New York City, study law at CUNY School of Law, and lead Creative Visual Studio. Increasingly that work centers on AI governance and on institutions that can adopt new technology while keeping human judgment accountable.

How people build durable knowledge and judgment, and courses and programs that develop it.
Law, Institutions & Civic Systems

Background
My career began in nonprofit and community leadership: nine years building a youth sports program from a local offering into a multi-site operation, then six years leading a ministry organization and its online teaching program, alongside executive and consulting roles in business. I trained as a teacher at The Ohio State University, taught in Ohio, and moved to New York City Public Schools in 2023. Creative Visual Studio has run alongside that work since 2021, and J.D. study began in 2026. The Experience page has the full record; the earlier ministry work is archived at praygrowserve.com (leaves dmccv.com).
